IUI with a blocked cervix?
to Getpregnantblog.com To get pregnant an intrauterine insemination (IUI) is often required.
However, I read that IUI’s are less successful when the patient suffers with cervical stenosis. But I feel confident of this doctor’s ability to get the catheter up the right path in spite of my partially blocked cervix. She says she has done literally thousands of IUI’s – so I think she ought to be able to get it done. My biggest goal for 2007 is to relax. So really I should not be worrying about this. I should be taking deep breaths and just believing that all will be well. That’s what hubby says anyway.
This morning he started talking about how I might not be able to go on the honeymoon (in may) because I will be pregnant. It was so nice to hear it. It was nice to imagine me with a big belly. I just can’t wait. I am secretly hoping that we somehow get pregnant this cycle and there is no need for the invasive medical stuff. I know so many people whom it happened to that way. It would be such a miracle – such a beloved joyous blessing.
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I get pregnant this cycle.
“Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself… ‘How did I get through all of that?â€
