This step is quite straightforward: Take steps to reduce the stress in your life. Yes, I know, just trying to conceive introduces so much stress into your life which is why it is doubly important that you take specific steps to relieve your stress. Any kind of stress, whether it is work, relationship, lack of sleep or lack of exercise elevates FSH.
So it is imperative that you do whatever you can to relieve the stress in your life. Regular exercise helps, as does getting enough sleep. Eight hours of sleep is essential to let your body rest. Meditating, listening to relaxing music, even cutting out horror movies and crime scenes shows all can help in reducing stress levels in the body.
It might mean giving up your usual 3 hours a night of TV to make time to meditate and get 8 hours of sleep. Is that worth being able to get pregnant? You decide.
Similarly, in cutting out activities that cause you stress, you also want to include activities that bring you joy. Make time for fun and laughter, even if it is just a funny sitcom or youtube video. Try to change the focus in your life from the negative things to the positive ones.
